SCOTT HURDLE
FOUNDER & CEO
Scott brings more than three decades of expertise to his role leading technical operations at S&R. He earned his degree in Turfgrass & Pest Management from Purdue University and holds an impressive suite of professional credentials. He is a licensed general, landscape, and irrigation contractor, as well as a certified Erosion Control Specialist (Levels I, II, and III). Additionally, he holds certifications from OSHA and MSHA, alongside Clean Streams and Water Wise credentials.
Scott collaborates across all company divisions to integrate cutting-edge products and programs, guaranteeing the highest quality results for every project. Outside the office, he is an avid pilot who enjoys fishing, playing and collecting guitars, and spending time with his family. Dedicated to giving back, Scott is also actively involved with several mission-based outreach programs.
ROBIN HURDLE
CO-FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Co-founder Robin is the operational and organizational heart of S&R Enterprises. From the company's earliest days, Robin wore many hats—managing everything from bookkeeping and administration to ordering supplies and on some occasions working on a job site—though her true passion has always been marketing and promotions.
Deeply committed to a family-first culture, Robin balances her executive responsibilities with her most cherished roles as a dedicated wife and mother. Outside the office, she pours her energy into training her German Shepherd, Luna, in the rigorous dog sport of Schutzhund (IGP). She also enjoys traveling and hosting family gatherings and events.

S&R Enterprises is led by a dedicated team of experienced professionals with deep roots in erosion control, site development, and land management. With direct lines of communication and hands-on involvement at every level, our leadership is accessible, accountable, and committed to the success of every project we take on.
BRIAN CIOFANI
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Brian has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2014, serving as a critical force behind the company’s financial strength, stability, and long-term viability. He leads financial strategy, capital allocation, and risk management with discipline and precision, playing a central role in navigating growth, protecting margins, and positioning the company to capitalize on opportunities in all market conditions.
Deeply involved in key business decisions—from deal structuring and cash flow management to expansion planning and risk mitigation—Brian’s ability to balance growth with financial prudence has made him a foundational pillar of the company’s sustained success.
Outside of work, he’s grounded in his faith, family, and integrity.

CHASE EVERHART
VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES & OPERATIONS
Chase Everhart truly cut his teeth at S&R, building his career from the ground up. He began his journey as an erosion control crew member, mastering the field's technical demands firsthand.
Through dedication and proven leadership, Chase rose through the ranks to his current role as Vice President of Sales & Operations. Over the course of his career, he has earned key industry credentials, including Erosion Control Specialist (Levels I and II), MSHA certification, and North Carolina Pesticide Applicator License. He maintains continuous education in erosion control, soil science, agronomy, and agricultural products.
Outside of the office, Chase is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his family.

SHANA JAMES
ESTIMATING & SALES PROJECT COORDINATOR
With more than 30 years of experience in Finance, Shana brings a wealth of knowledge, strong teamwork, and open-minded strategies to her role as Estimating & Sales Project Coordinator.
She is known for her collaborative approach, steady leadership, and commitment to supporting successful project outcomes. Her responsibilities include project estimating, project takeoff, project sales, and cost engineering.
Shana is actively involved in missions work alongside her husband, reflecting her dedication to service and community. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, her two very spoiled Golden Retrievers, traveling, and cheering on her twin granddaughters as they play softball.
